Decorating Mid-Century Modern on a Budget

Currently my favorite room in our supper big (jk 550 sq foot) apartment would probably be the living room. I'm just going to show where we got everything from since we tried our best to stay away from Ikea for this one. don't get me wrong, I love Ikea, but it all starts to look the same as everyone else's places. I'll link to the exact item by clicking on the pictures!

The sofa is from Ashley's Furniture- and we got it right after new years so they had a lot of New years deals! I couldn't find the exact one but here is one similar!

The Live Edge coffee table AND the accent chair are from Cost Plus World Market! Note** that it is 15% off your first purchase when you sign up for emails so we each did that and rang up separately. Also the live edge table was actually legit- it's heavy and every single one is different. We opened it up at the car to make sure we were OK with it. Otherwise the plan was to return it and check again haha.

The art on the wall is actually Nicholas' photos from our Utah/CA trip. He printed them on a fancy printer at school (fo free) and then I got frames at Michael's. I just watched closely for a deal and ended up getting them buy one get one free, I got four. They usually have a 40% off one item coupon too.

The tall mirror and throw pillows are from the bestest store on earth - good ole Home goods.
They don't really have their products online but the throw pillows are Ralph Lauren, they cost about $13 a piece. Here is one I found kind of similar on TJmaxx website. The Home Goods I went to had an entire isle of tall mirrors to pick from- so I think it might be worth checking out a few different Home Goods if you have them near you!

We got our Floor Lamp at Menards but recently I saw the EXACT same one at target for much cheaper so I will link to that one :)

The Throw Blanket was from Pottery Barn- They are now discontinued on the cite but I'll link to pottery barns throw blankets :)

Last but not least this TV console. Nick found this one on Wayfair. I generally haven't heard many good things about wayfair but since this had a large weight we could assume it was good quality or at least would be sturdy!

Annndd the rug was Nick's from before- I'm not sure where it is from. It is just a solid greyish tone.

Hope you enjoyed this post and got inspired to design a new space!
